Soyabean boht acha source hai  protein ka, but whnever we listen this word Soyabean the only thing which comes in our mind is ‘Its a high source of protein only ‘but its not true, eske alava bhi kuch facts esse related hai jaise esme milne vala protein cholesterol level ko kam karta hai jbki nonnveg se milne vala protein cholesterol level ko badata hai. Ek research batata hai ki apne diet m soyabean ko add krne vale ladies mei breast cancer ka khatra kam hota hai. Soyabean  acha source hai fiber aur omega-3 ka, jo ek boht acha option hai  fat free diet lene valo ke liye .So lets cook today  soyabean chaap.


Soyachaap sticks                               -500 gm

FOR 1ST Marination

  • Ginger garlic paste                  -1 teaspoon
  • Salt                                             -1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper powder              -1/2 teaspoon

FOR 2nd Marination

  • Curd                                            -4 tablespoon
  • Green chili paste                      -1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala                          -1/2 teaspoon
  • Chili flakes/red chili powder-1/2 teaspoon

FOR Gravy

  • Tomato Puree                           -100 gm
  • Onion                                         -1 midum size
  • Tezpat patta                             -1 piece
  • Long                                          – 3-4
  • Hari Eliachi                             – 1
  • Bade Eliachi                            – 1
  • Kali Mirch                               – 4-5
  • Shahi paneer masala            – 3 teaspoon
  • Kitchen king masala             – 2 teaspoon
  • Garam masala                        – 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder                   – 1 tea spoon
  • Coriander powder                – 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh Cream/Amul cream   – 1/2 cup
  • Milk                                         – 1 cup
  • Kasuri Meethi                       – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt                                          – 2 teaspoon/as per your taste


  • Sabse pahle soyachaap ko pani mei 30 min bhigoye uske baad soyabeanchaap se sticks ko dhere dhere alag karke chaap ke dono side knife se cut lgale.
  • Ab fresh homemade(if possible) ginger garlic paste mei thoda sa pani,kali mirch powder,salt milakr Soyachaap ko es tayar 1st marination mei ache se milakr 30 min ke liye rakh de.
  • Ab 1st marination mei he dahi,green chili paste,garam masala,chili flakes/red chili powder dalkar soyachaap ko fer se ache se es tayar marination mei milakr 20-25 min k liye rakh de.
  • Ab ek nonstick kadai mei kadai mei 3 teaspoon oil dalkr low flame par marinate ki hue soyabeanchaap ko 4-5 min ke liye fry krle,soyachaap fry krne k baad bache hue marination ko bhi ese kadai mei dalkr 1-2 min k liye fry kare aur gas off krde.
  • Ab dusri kadai ko low flame par rakhkar usme 3 tablespoon desighee aur 2 teaspoon butter dalkr usme tezpat patta,kalimirch,long,hari elaichi,bade elaichi dalkar 30 sec bhunkar usme fresh ginger garlic paste ko 30 sec bhunne ke baad pise hue pyaz dalkar medium flame pr golden brown hone tk bhune.
  • Ab tomato puree( for better taste use market tomato puree) dale aur medium flame par tb tak bhunne jab tk gravy sides mei oil nahi chod dete.
  • Ab esme fresh cream dale ( fresh cream ke liye aap ek bowl mei dudh k malai le aur spoon se use thoda patla hone tak chalaye) aur ache se 30 sec tak chalaye.
  • Ab gas off karle aur dudh dalkar ache se chalane ke baad gas on karke esme shahi paneer masala,kasuri meethi,kitchen king masala,dhaniya powder,red chili powder,salt dalkr mix kare.
  • Ab bhune hue soyabean chaap aur bhune hue marination  ko tayar gravy mei dalkr 5-10 min dhemi aanch par pakaye.
  • Thoda thanda hone par tayar chaap mei dhere dhere nikale hue chaap sticks lga de,aur serve kare Rumali Roti ke sath.


  1. Gravy mei dudh dalne se phle hamesha gas off karle esse dudh faatta nahi hai.
  2. Gravy gade hone par pani se jagah dudh dalkar he jarurat anusar patla kare.Esse taste badta hai.
  3. Agar aap 2 bar marination nahi karna chahate to 1st marination mei he sare dahi ke alava sare cheze dalkar marinate kar sakte hai.


When i cooked this dish,i send this dish picture to my hubby and he shocked and suddenly reply “Aaj ghar par Mutton Chaap kaise ban gaya”beause I am  vegetarian thats why he was confused but when he taste it he says only “Veg me Non-Veg ka maza aa gaya”.So friends cook this dish and give surprise to ur non-vegetarian or vegetarian PATI DEV.
